What this site is, what it is not, and what happens when you follow a booking link. Where a house cannot be booked with Casoneta, the link goes straight to the owner's own page.
What this site is
An editorial publication about private properties. Descriptions reflect what we verified at the time of writing.
Bookings
Where a property is not bookable through us, any reservation is a contract between you and the owner or their platform. The property page always states which applies.
Accuracy
Facts, capacity and availability change. Check details with the owner before travelling, and tell us about anything out of date.
Images
Photographs of a house are published with the rights holder's written permission and credited on the page they appear on. The scene-setting landscape photography around them is open-licence or stock, and the photographer for each one is named on the credits page. Rights queries go to the contact address.
Liability
We are not responsible for a stay we do not operate. Where we do arrange something, the terms for it are stated at the point of arrangement.
Governing law
These terms, and any dispute arising from them, are governed by the law of Portugal.
Written to be read rather than survived, and kept in plain language on purpose. If a line reads oddly, say so at nick@casoneta.com and it gets explained or rewritten.
